To days your Day To day is the day I get to say Thanks for being my friend You were the best dad We made it in the end As a baby it was all new You weren’t to sure what to do Thank God for mum in those days But love was strong and we got along We always found a way And as love grew we did to As a youth I learned some truths And life went on again And in my teens I caused some scenes But you were cool when I was a fool You taught me lots back then And now I am a man I understand All you tried to do I just wish you were her to day Daddy I sure miss you I just want tell you how I feel But now you've gone my heart won’t heal so I look up to God above who keeps you safe and send my love.
